Slideshow

Dim the lights, break out the slide projector, and the pop popcorn.  It's an oh-so-exciting photo slideshow!  It's not like I'm actually trying to *write* a blog or anything.

These are some highlights of our summer, plus photos of the cats (just for Jeremy Webb) and oodles and oodles of photos of Theo for the family.

Brittany and Pearson's wedding at Wedding Rock, Skiland.

Theo, in a post-bath glow of relaxation.  Or maybe he's pooping.  July 2011.

Greg came to visit.  We took him to Ivory Jack's so he could prove his mettle with their largest hamburger, retaining his title of King of the Meat.

John put Greg to work leading construction efforts on redoing the posts on our deck.  See!  We provide fun activities for visitors!

We attended Luke and Krissi's wedding at Chena Lakes.  This was pretty much the most awesome wedding processional ever – a New Orleans style entrance by the groom and his party.

At the wedding reception.  Where's Theo?  Oh my god, we forgot the baby!

John spent many days this summer working at the Quist Farm as a farmhand.  Foreman Cree Quist watches over his efforts.

Blueberry picking with Sara.

Theo's second playdate with his first friend Eliza Jane.

We lost Clancy to cancer in July.  I miss this little cat every day.  Photo credit: Gretchen Drew.

Johnson is starting Theo young on cribbage.

Theo knows when to hold 'em.

Theo's first plane ride.  He did surprisingly well – no crying.

Theo meets his Great Uncle Eric.

Driving Saaby Saab Jr Shabadoo around town again.

How many a morning was spent.

Meeting Benjamin.

Auntie Krista.

On our way to brunch.  Oh, brunch.  How I miss you.

At, of course, brunch.  Brunch at Serafina, my favorite restaurant.

Andy looks askance at the crowds at the Ballard Farmers Market.

Theo meets his Godmother Naomi.

Andy and Jen, our gracious hosts and partners in brunch crime.

Theo meets Great Aunt Rebecca.

And his cousin Mya.

And his Aunt Mary.

Getting his first real glimpse of the water.

Great Grandmother Mayo.

Cousin Neil.
At Café Vivacé in South Lake Union.

Jeremy, getting used to the idea of holding a baby, and Theo, getting used to the idea of Jeremy.

Great Grandpa Clarence Perreault.

"Give me Magnum!" I demanded.  But I only got Blue Steel.

Great Aunt Karen.

Great Uncle Paul.

The view of Commencement Bay from their patio.  I miss this.
Heather quickly caught on to the best way to hold a baby.  Later, Theo pooped on her.  She's a real trooper.

Theo meeting Madeline, my old boss.

Bathtime back home in Fairbanks.

Theo's first taste (more like a facial, really) of sweet potato.

John and Theo at Zoe's wedding.

PQ's birthday celebration at Julia's Solstice Cafe.

Nancy Williams, Athena, Cree and John.

With PQ and Drapeau.

My fingers are still crossed that the Sounders can somehow pull through.

I pulled together a last minute Halloween outfit as a 50s housewife (thanks to Suli's contribution of cat eye glasses).  Theo wasn't sure about the whole thing.

Today, I dressed Theo up in his Captain Picard onesie and took him to Julia's to get some shots with his godfather.  Note the communicator pin on Cree.  Rad.
